Catherine Hofmeyr shares her story a natural water birth at her home at the 2014 Cape Town Midwifery and Birth Conference.
Her birth was facilitated by an amazing midwife who trusted this process and supported Catherine and her partner in doing it themselves. This left them empowered. They also had a breast crawl experience whereby baby Mila found her own way and latched herself.
Catherine Hofmeyr is a 39 year old mother of Mila. Before entering motherhood she practiced as a massage therapist with a special interest in kinesiology and nutrition.
